Renkert Food Grade White Mineral Oils

Renkert Oil produces a range of Food Grade White Oils in their Chicago, Illinois facility utilizing a patented process. This high purity food grade oil is distributed throughout North America utilizing our dedicated food grade railcar fleet and dedicated food grade bulk tank truck carriers. Renkert Oil has over a million gallons of dedicated food grade storage capacity, our Chicago facility is able to provide consistent supply to our customers. Renkert Oil offers custom white oil blends and is committed to working closely with our customers to develop quality products.

Major applications are in personal care products, food processing, polymers and agricultural.

Renkert Food Grade White Oils are colorless, odorless, and tasteless mixtures of saturated paraffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons. Our Food Grade White Oils are chemically and biological stable and do not support bacterial growth. Renkert Food Grade White Oils contain Vitamin E a natural antioxidant to protect quality during handling and storage.

Superla® Food Grade white mineral oils deliver value through:

  • Chevron Superla® Food Grade White Oils are a mixture of saturated Paraffinic and Naphthenic hydrocarbons that span a viscosity range of 60 – 350 SUS at 100 F.

  • where direct food contact may occur
  • where prolonged contact with human skin is necessary
  • where odor and staining must be minimized
  • where outstanding long service under adverse conditions is required

The NSF Nonfood Compounds Registration Program is a continuation of the USDA product approval and listing program, which is based on meeting regulatory requirements of appropriate use, ingredient review and labeling verification.

  • Are accepted by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency for use in Registered Plants and for use on food equipment or machinery parts where contact with food is on incidental.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency approves white mineral oils for use in food processing establishments. In some ways CFIA acts as the Food and Drug Administration does in the USA.

Typical applications are as Egg treatment oils, Incidental food contact lubricants, protective oils for food equipment, Antifoam agents, and food release agents (such as for bread).
